be serious, Floyd is hardly the brightest star in the sky. He gets himself in all kinds of trouble, even financially with a multi million dollar income, law trouble and says the most stupid things in public. Hardly what you call a "smart man".

I agree the smarter man will win while pac I believe has really improved his boxing skills I dont think he should try to box with floyd u simply cant win a thinking game against floyd but pac will be smart enough not to fall into that Im sure he will have plan come fight night.

Floyd does things I wouldn't do to draw attention to himself. He's definitely emotionally unstable and wants to be considered a "cool" person. He opens himself to be call unintelligent by folks who hate him.

 

Mayweather is a genius at boxing, he was born into it, has a propencity towards it, and he works hard at it, with pride and devotion..
At the same time Floyd appears to be a blithering idiot from the things his says and does.
Maybe he's a guy with incredible potential but bad influance from senior and uncle Roger?
From a boxing standpoint, Floyd is certainly smart enough to beat Paq, it is delusional to think otherwise.

 

Smarter man doesn't always win. Ask Hopkins about RJJ, Calzaghe and Taylor. Pac is smart enough combined with all his other abilities.

 

Floyd is the smarter fighter period. Theres no argument there. Business man as well. He does care what people think about and he did just have a melt down. It's all the same for alot of people that become icons. Personally I think people are blowing his recent short comings out of proportion . Not much is going to come from the court stuff. I think the bigger blow will be Rodger going to jail. Bottom line Floyd will start picking up the pieces again then it's on to Manny whom he is going **** up badly. Floyd said he doesn't have urge. Well everyone(fans,media) hating him and discrediting him is urge that he's going to take out on Manny . For Floyd really it's usually been business and getting paid. Not with Manny . Manny is not only the guy getting all the benefit of the doubt with everyone but he's also going to be the tool Floyd uses to make everyone look like idiots. A pissed off motivated Floyd with everything to prove against the supposed better fighter in front of him is not good for the ignorant gullible Manny Pacquiao . I'm telling you guys Manny has a Gatti esque ass beating coming his way. He's literally not prepared or ready for what he has coming for him. You Pacquiao fans are going to learn sometimes getting what you ask for isn't a good thing but can be devastating . Floyds going "to grow a pair" then makes Manny look like a lost child that just got abandoned by its parents. You heard it here.

Yeah he is smarter (ring IQ). If Pac won't catch him REAL GOOD (even after Hatton I doubt he has enough power to hurt Floyd badly) there's hardly any hope for him. He's not gonna win on points or TKO on accumulation.
