In his last fight (more so in the end) Kessler punched a lot of wide shot and such. So when Kessler was doing this it wasnt fast hands, head movement, feet movement, etc. So I dont know how you can say that Kessler was a lot faster than AA will be.

At this level of competition, its a lot harder to make a real KO, so as I said in my previous post I dont see a KO in this fight, maybe KD or even a ref stopage, but not a good old KO. Both guys have good chin too.

Hm. I still can't settle on who I think will win this fight, but I think if one KO's the other, Abraham will KO Froch. If Froch wins, I've a feeling it will on points, working Abraham at range and knocking him around enough to keep him in his shell.

That said, they are both coming off their first losses, so who knows what stylistic adjustments they may have made.

I agree for the Dirrell fight but how can you say Taylor outboxed AA ? The only thing he has hit in this fight is AA's gloves. :patsch

Yeah of course ! Without any doubt !

Exactly what i think ! AA by TKO.

    1. I would say that one - punch wise, AA hits harder than Kessler.

    2. He stopped fighters who had to really kill themselves to make the MW limit, so who is a "natural" SMW? Kessler started his career at 154, yet he is a massive SMW now. Miranda and Taylor are more SMW - types who were able to make MW for a while. Besides, AA only had two fights at SMW, so it's not like he tried and failed to knock out 20 SMW's.

    3. He was off - balance when he got knocked down. AA fought 8 rounds with a broken jaw whilelosing a quart of blood and Froch doesn't hit harder than Miranda (Froch is a much better fighter, no doubt).

    4. AA easier to hit? Dirrell so far was the only one who was effective against AA's turtle defense and Froch doesn't have the speed and skills of Dirrell. Taylor found it much easier to hit Froch than AA.

Froch can win a UD here, he has that 76" reach and height advantage and he can use it, evident in his win against Pascal but unfortunatelly he likes to engage if his opponent is agressive and attacks and he might get knocked out against Abraham if he does that.

First off I thought AA will handily KO Froch but I had considered it again..

i think Froch will keep AA too busy, Froch will not give AA room for his swinging hooks and can win this on points. This will be Rough Fight and might turn out very nasty:yep

I still slightly favour AA by late stoppage...

    What, no poll?

Of course, IF there is a KO, it will be AA standing and Froch laying on his back. Froch is far too slow and keeps his hands too low for someone with slow reflexes. AA will catch Froch early which will say alot about Froch's weaknesses.

Abraham is more likely to win this fight.

Froch needs to keep his hands high. If he keeps his hands low, there is no way he's gonna win against Abraham. Abraham eats for breakfast fighters that have bad defense.

Froch got a good chin, having a good chin isn't enough against a power puncher like Abraham.

Froch got dropped by Taylor who isn't a huge power puncher like Abraham is.
