You obviously havent seen the Ottke - Johnson fight or you being around 11 whenthe fight happend have had to look at Boxrec and youtube to even have any knowledge of the fight. Ottke beat Johnson. His performance although not as dominating, because as said Ottke wasnt a physically strong fighter or puncher, is very big win on its own as Johnson was more experienced (many on here have said it wouldnt be as easy for Hopkins if they fought again, I cant say), and at a weight that suited him more

Ottke held a title at LHW before he won a title at SMW, so how small was he?

I guess you must be on Boxrec again , because you wouldnt have watched Ottke that far back, but anyway in answer Ottke wasnt big but wasnt terribly small either, but did often look soft around his body, as if he could either tone up or lose a bit of weight. But still, Ottke was fighting guys his own size and 2 of his victims won world titles at LHW.

Once again read it clearly. I said Hopkins big reign MW wins were Tito and Oscar, who both had only ever had one MW fight each and yes they were smaller fighters. Remember Hopkins started at LHW and Tito & Oscar at WW & SFW respectively, that not a division or two but four divisions & seven divisions respectively

But Ottke won a title at LHW, and Brewer started his career at MW. Im not degrading no wins based on weight issues, because a person can be comfortable at weight, but your arguement needs to be applied on Ottke aswell dont you think. Ottke beat a smaller man in Brewer, Krajnc, Reid, Gatti, Johnson, Tate, Thornberry, Mundine, Butler, Ennebati, Branco.

Not correct either as Ottke didnt start his career until he was 30 atsch, so would have been alot lighter if he had of started his career in his late teens/early - middle 20s like most if not maybe all the fighters you mention

The only one you mentioned in future champs. Hopkins fought and beat 4 present champs, while Ottke dealt with 2 both of them being controversial SD's. While Hopkin's had clearly beaten them.

You still dont understand atsch. REIGN RESUME. Ottke had a better reign resume in my opinion, I have openly said Ottke wasnt physically strong and didnt dominate but found a way to win against stronger harder punches.

As said before Ottke was around 30 when he turned pro, so wasnt the bigger man, he was most possibly smaller, which Hopkins wasnt ever in his reign. I guess without being sarcastic, if you were old enough to comment on these fighters fairly with having watched their careers as they happend, then you would have known Ottke started late after a long amateur career.

The shame of it is most havent understood the points. Ive tried to explain to so many dipshits who dont. I wouldnt even know if your one of them that ive had to explain to, that its not about careers or dominating wins but reign resume only.
Still if Ottke made a come back based on this, it wouldnt be too bad with some of the recycled fighters going at the moment
