"Pacquiao might go down in history as one or more of the following: the greatest southpaw of all time, the greatest Filipino fighter of all time and the most important fighter since the Muhammad Ali era."

If even certified Pacquiao's nemesis Oscar Dela Hoya's The Ring Magazine keeps on writing stuff like this, my pekpek can't help but to wonder how even BIGGER Manny Pacquiao will be when he retires! :deal

i'm still not on the pac bandwagon yet. I want him to fight somebody who isnt damaged goods or isnt fighting at a pac favoring catchweight.

What's you idea of a "damaged goods"? Do you mean a boxer who lost by KO is a damaged goods? Who will judge that a fighter is a damaged good or not? If that's your criteria, Pacquiao can be considered a damaged goods because lost via KO twice.

He beat Clottey all 12 rounds at 147 who arguably has never really lost a fight convincingly before and is now reportedly going to fight at middleweight. Pac fought 1 catchweight fight (in his 56th pro fight). If you're not on the bandwagon yet after the 7 weight division titles, you'll never be on it. You'll just find new excuses.

He won't go down as the best southpaw of all time but he'll be in the talks that's for sure

I dont disagree with that, I mean there is an argument. He is the greatest fighter from Asia, ever. So in that sense, he has done a lot for boxing internationally. He is the most famous person in the Phillipines, which says a lot casue I dont think the most famous person from any other country is any one athlete, much less a boxer. I think if Manny was never a fighter, boxing would be in a much worse place than it is today.

Who taught Pek Pek to write in english sentences?

Anyway Sugar Ray Leonard and Roy Jones Jr were far more dynamic then Pacquiao. Leonard was far more popular and renowned.

Hell Pacquiao doesnt even sell as well as Floyd or Oscar. Silly ass article from the ring per usual.
