vitali doesnt think it was a legit stoppage vs lewis?

    in a recent interview i saw vitali give, he says he doesnt agree with the stoppage as the cut was under control and he had no problems with it :patsch

    he said he would have understood if it got stopped 2 rounds earlier but by round 5 his corner had it under control.

    if this was the case why did they try putting stitches on his eye?

    what do you guys think, was the stoppage legit?

    btw the interview was on ringside

    Legit. No doubt about it.

    Fights have to stop because of cuts. Nothing special here.

    The cuts where results of Lewis punches.

    Lewis won TKo 6.

    The doctor made the right dicision. He looks at the cuts in round 3 and let Vitali continue. Than in round 6 Lewis becomes stronger and Vitali took a great uppercut and he was hurt. So the doctor stopped the fight and the right time.

    Vitali could have lost his eye, if the fight was not stopped.

    Vitali makes a great fight but Lewis won fair and Vitali and his fans should accept it.

    i agree, i dont think any doctor in the right mind would have let it continue. but vitali seemed pretty adament.

    Yes! The cut was very big, and it happened by a "punch" also.
    Big Lewis fan here, but Lennox was just lucky that punch half missed and scraped past Vitali's eye opening up that tear.

    But it was also clear Vitali had the upper hand in the bout, and there should have been a rematch.

    It was legit. That cut was seriously deep, and there was alot of rounds left

    I think some people also forget that it wasn't just one cut VITLAY suffered. Yes, ultimately that was he deciding factor, but the right side of his face was a ****ing mess.

    Watch the fight after the 5th round break just before vitali stands up from his corner to start round 6 he touches his eye and up starts bleeding immediately
    Stoppage was the right call
