the publicity isnt there at all. it will only make money in germany and that is just because wlad is fghting.

i isnt the perfect tme, the perfect time would be in about 7 fights time.

he needs to fight the likes of sprott, rogan, fury first. then maybe euro level like ustinov, dmitrnko, helenius. then top 10 level like arreola, chambers, povetkin. then title fght.

I think you've touched on something quite interesting. VITLAY is probably going to have one or two more fights and then call it quits. He'll vacate the title and WALDO will fight for it - I hope against Haye. Should he prevail I think he has nothing left to prove so he may decide to hang up his gloves not long after his brother. I actually see those two persuing a promoting career amongst other things. It will probably be down to Haye, Povetkin and the like to take over from there. We're probably seeing the last few fights from both of them.

I think Warren would have done well to get Chisora a title fight.

He doesnt deserve one and he isnt on the level of Wlad, but will he be any less of a walkover than someone like Hasim Rahman? Fact is the division is full of dead wood, why not give a young hungry fighter a shot?

Result: Wlad jabs him into submission in the late rounds.

I don't believe that Haye is retiring soon but I do think he is clearly out to make as much money as possible - one reason why I think he fights WALDO next year. You can rule out a VITLAY fight in my opinion depending on the outcome of a fight with WALDO.

As for VITLAY, I think he disposes of Briggs and leaves the door wide open for Haye. Should that fight not happen, I think he'll hang them up.

You're underestimating Chisora. Look how well Povetkin did when he earned a shot at Wladimir with 14 fights. He ****ing DESTROYED Taurus Sykes.

    :lol::lol:

I think the inexperienced angle is used a bit too much here. The real problem is the gap in skill what it's all about. I think people will scream even harder when Wlad would be fighting 50 fight veteran, former EBU champ and winner of HW prizefighter Michael Sprott.
Anyone with half a brain would know Chisora is the much better fighter, with or without the experience.

chisora gets his shot because the klitschkos are just running out of challengers.
in the sexton fight, chisora showed some good movement, handspeed and a decent fast jab, and he's young and improving with every fight.
you've got to give del boy his due for taking the fight, he knows the odds are against him, but he has the balls to step up and take his shot. david haye should take note.

Erm, it needs to happen, if none of the other contenders have the balls to fight Wlad and Wlad needs to stay busy.

Wlad is also partly a victim of his own success, as he has comprehensively beaten every contender out there over the last 5 years.

Don't get me wrong, Chisora is a decent HW... But, I don't think he'll ever have the goods to beat Wlad no matter how long he waits... And in the meantime, it's not hard to imagine him getting beat by somebody in the top ten in his first real step-up fight... possibly resulting in him never getting a shot at the title, or the big pay-day.

I'd say take the fight (and the $$$) now while he can... just make sure his corner has that towel in hand ready to end things before their man takes too much punishment, and he'll be fine to continue his career. (with valuable big-fight experience behind him + 400K in the bank!)

    * A bird in the hand... as they say.
