Should Rob McCraken Be Sacked?

Rob McCraken has been exposed as a weak selctor/trainer who seems to have a personal grudge against the Khans. He said that Khan was not good enough to make the podium squad and that Tommy Stubbs was ranked ahead of Khan.

What ended up happening should make any British red-faced, Tommy Stubbs was beaten by Selby, Selby was beaten by Khan. Neither Tommy Stubbs or Selby got a medal and return home empty handed with thier hands hung low in shame.

Given all the events that have taken place I just cant see how Rob McCraken who last lost all credibility in this debacle can remain in his position. Im also certain that he will be sacked the moment he leaves Dehli and is back in the UK.

**Also can someone confirm if this Rob McCraken is the same Rob McCraken that trains Carl Froch? That would answer alot **

    Should he be sacked?

Pathetic thread! Rob McCraken is a top coach! Khan is not in the GB team because Kal Yafai is there. He is far and away the best 52kg in this country, never mind Europe. Kal was selected for the games at 52kg, not Stubbs and he withdrew last minute, too late to draft in a replacement so Stubbs moved up as their was a gap. Haroon has performed well at the games so congratulations to him but he will never take Kal's place on GB :bart

You, kiddo, are a **** of the highest order. Not choosing someone and being proven wrong doesn't prove anything.

Don't rise to it. He knows full well the selection was as it should. He's just trying to bait people into responding, as he's been doing for the last couple of hours. He's sad sad individual

Who is he to say, that Haroon Khan can never represent Great Britain....? Who the **** is he to denied a athlete who train's day in day out, of his Olympic Ambitions.

I tell you who he ****ing is..? ****ing nobody...Mr ****ing Nobody.

Robert McCracken is ****ing nobody, and has no right to denied any athlete a chance..! noticed that i said chance.

Robert McCracken is straight up saying, Haroon Khan will never represent Team GB.

    This is wrong.

Has Haroon Khan failed any drug test..?

    Has he committed any crimes..?

Has he brought boxing into serious disrepute..?

Haroon Khan won the Junior Nationals right..? He's abit pissed off he wasn't picked.

He didn't lay down, and take the decision.

Haroon Khan is showing that he is a true competitor. He is not accepting that any other British fighter is better than him. I'm glad he made that Twitter message......

OK, going into this tournament is their any evidence that Haroon could have had any real success. It would have been a long shot picking him.

He has performed well but it could be luck, it might not be.

McCraken did exactly the right thing.

Haroon has done himself out of any chance to be selected for GB in the future with his conduct.
