Shoes and socks are pathetic excuses. Getting blood taken out a day before fight and wearing unfamiliar equipment contributed to Pac's performance. Disagree people? Then that means you believe Pac beat a prime De La Hoya. You can't have it both ways. :hey

I love how pac fans bring up the blood test excuse. Manny went to blame his gloves and other pathetic excuses to Larry Merchant but failed to mention a "good" excuse by mentioning the blood tests weakening him. Manny's people realised how pathetic his excuses are and told him to give the the blood test excuse to save face from getting outboxed to the point EM turned southpaw on him.

This used to be my 2nd favorite fight of that year only behind Corrales vs Castillo but as I rewatched both, I found this fight to be much more rewatchable than the Corrales vs Castillo fight for some reason. It is one of the top 10 fights of the decade for me and will become a milestone because it will be known as the last fight Pacquiao eve lost. :hat

Morales fought a very good fight and he gave the blueprint how to beat Pac.

Pac was handicapped early with either the Winning gloves and the injury but it showed how much heart he has by still trying to win all the way to the last round.

This was the fight that was painful to Pac. He cried after this fight and he didn't get the victory welcome he got used to from his countrymen. He definitely learned a lesson in this fight and actually knew how to fight going backwards from then on.

That means you believe Pac beat a prime De La Hoya! Or do you like having it both ways?

    haha, i agree

i've said it before that corrales/castillo is overrated (especially the last round).

I can rewatch an artist like morales take apart a savant like pacquiao all day, every day

Morales went toe to toe with Pacman for 12 rounds and then got so confident to the point he even turned southpaw, taunting Pacman! Erik the Terrible's last great performance no doubt.
