How good was Margarito's win over Martinez?

    He didnt have Javier Capetillo during that fight, he was with another trainer, so to me that is not just a decent win thats a solid win considering what Martinez has done since getting knocked out, and though it was a younger Martinez it was also a younger greener Margarito as well.

    Martinez before isn't as good as he is now. Above all, you never know if Margarito had loaded up his gloves for that one.

    I have more tendency to agree with the first statement, but I think RJJ's victory over Hopkins was pretty much in their primes and the result would have been the same throughout.

    Hopkins despite being older was less experienced at the time of their fight. Martinez was in the same boat in that he was less experienced despite being in his physical prime vs. Margo. You can tell that Margarito in that fight was no where near as strong as he will be in another 3-4 years down the road when he hit his physical prime.

    I don't think so.

    Martinez had been boxing for two years with little or no amateur experience.

    Marg had been six years in the game.

    And we don't know what Marg might have had in his gloves.



    How good is Rustico Torrecampo's win over Pac ?

    it was a very good win. Which means williams win over margarito was even more superb
