Don't see a problem with it. It's a training camp not a picnic, as long as he works hard there isn't going to be a problem.

This is only the fitness side of things as well. You can get fit anywhere, it doesn't really matter. Being in warm climates is going to help though, it looks pretty warm to me...so whether it be Phillipines or LA I don't think it matters for this stage.

As for the flights, really don't see that having any impact over a long training camp.

Like someone said it just seems like a waste of time training in the Philippines, When they could easily have trained in LA.

Its all down to Manny, He wanted to train at home. Like someone said Manny has tax problems so has to train outside the US now and again.

It definitely does seem as though Nazim has a tight group set up in his camp. I think Bernard said it best..."Nazim's not just a trainer, he's a teacher". I haven't got access to YouTube, but there's a video out there which shows Mosley's son competing in a amateur fight. I think he gets out-muscled and loses the bout, and you see Nazim at the end telling him something along the lines:

"It's like you got a crazy person knocking on your door wanting to break into your house, and then you let him come in. Don't be complaining like 'oh he broke my TV, he kicked my couch, he did this, he did that'. It's your damn fault for letting him in!"

    Nazim is too cool.

I dont see any problem with training in the Philippines. Amir will have seen the same conditions or worse in Pakistan. I think seeing a new country and all the congress **** will be a good experience for him.

The only worry for me would be jetlag causing wasted days.

The travelling is not ideal but Khan is around a top team, training is not a problem, Philippines is hot and humid right now and will help with losing weight and getting into shape.

After the amount of flying Khan does, jet lag's effect should of easied off him a bit and should be used to it and should know the best ways of getting it out of his system.

Filipino women are wild, that's my only concern for Amir. A bit like when Tyson was in Japan banging Japanese chicken heads right up till a few hours before the fight with Buster D.
