McCracken in India for 3 weeks......Froch back injury

it does... a lot.

even still, froch's training camp is still going to be badly affected.

 

i picked up on this in another thread,

What do ya reckon brings in the bigger salary for McCracken? Being Frochs trainer or training the GB team?

you'd of thought that training the GB team would be a real tidy earner, and what will he get from Froch? 10%? 20%? I really don't know how it works regarding trainers pay, but it can't be massive can it?

 

probly froch but thats not for 12 months of the year where as team GB is :thumbsup

 

10% is standard (IIRC!!!!) but it can get renegotiated downwards when the boxers get into the multi-million £ purse bracket.

I don't think it's about money for Mccracken. I think he loves training the amateurs and, let's be honest, he's a damn good trainer and it lets him maybe develop some of the kids for when they go pro.

 

I don't think McCracken's absence at the start of Froch's camp is a huge thing. I can only presume Tony Simms is taking charge of Froch's camp at the moment,and he himself is a bloody good trainer in his own rite.

 

GB trainer is a regular, reliable long-term wage. He only gets paid by Froch when he fights, and he wont be fighting that much longer...
