Manny Pacquaio vs Pernell Whitaker

How was Pacquiao green? He was a 2 time champ when he first fought Morales and his last fight with Marquez was only 2 years ago.

Whitaker has more then enough power to keep Pacquiao honest. Whitaker beat the greatest Mexican of them all, not a shot Morales or 34 year old Marquez, but Julio Cesar Chavez and had enough snap in his punches to keep him off of him.

Pacquiao has defensive liabilities against counter punchers. Even Cotto who is slow and short armed had no trouble getting his jab through Pacquiaos guard and catching him with timed shots busting him up. Cotto is not have the fighter Whitaker was.
