seriously, the only reason for this debate is because floyd ducked pac, we wont know how pac will do against a defensive wizard. once floyd find his missing cajones and pac proved he's supreme against a defensive black fighter, this pea vs pac debate will be reviewed & most of u will be embarassed of what ur saying against pac.

just like when everyone here got owned by pacdbest when he said pac will ko dlh, cotto & hatton 3 years ago.

I think Sweet Pea would win a decision. It would be the toughest fight for both guys, but I just see Pernell ad******g to Pac and winning it on the scorecards.

what I like about most *******s is that they really have nothing in common with their humble hero. This clown is arguably a top 20 ATG show some respect

So What:huh Is your arguement about the race or ethnic background or the fundemental foundation of their fighting style?....Floyd doesn't have one Philipino, ASIAN or "YELLOW" fighter on his resume. Floyd wants NO PARTS of at least ONE Asian fighter, that's for sure.

Cotto beat Shane....He had enough speed and movement to acutally outbox Shane for much of the fight. PAC dominated Miguel.....even moreso than Floyd dominate Shane. PAC's deals and copes with challenges all the same. With dedication to the right preparation during training camp. Marg could be too much for PAC. That's what a lot of people think as the fight gets closer.

You have to admit there aren't as many Asian fighters in boxing as Black Americans.

Pac dominated Cotto AFTER Tony(destroyed by shane) beat him to his knees.

Manny likes em' with a fresh KO on their records.

    Hatton
    Cotto
    Margarito

Pac likes other people to fluf his rice....cut his meat....and beat-up his opponents.

Pea had no power, despite keeping someone as durable as Chavez at bay right? :patsch

I suggest you actually learn about boxers instead of checking thier KO ratios at boxerec before you post.

As for the thread, Pea wins a wide UD.

I see it as a horrible style match up for Pacquiao personally. Pac does best when the other fighter comes forward and attempts to bully him, as with Hatton and Cotto. He struggled with JMM's counter punching style. He'd definitely struggle with Sweetpea.

Whitaker by UD.had all the tools to beat Manny..PEA HAD BETTER FOOTWORK THAN MAYWEATHER AND LEONARD...PRIME SWEET PEA BEATS HIM ALMOST EVERY TIME..

Anyone can see it....I mean if JMM can do that $hit..wow...hate to see what a quicker fighter with better movement would to him..Pea UD

Brutal KO win for Pacquiao. Whitaker lacks the firepower needed to survive. He'd eventually get taken out. Brutally.

The great defensive fighter usually beats the great offensive fighter - it's proven throughout history.

    Whitaker UD - around 8-4/9-3

Threads like this really bring out the worst in Pac fans and haters alike.

On one side you get people claiming Pacquiao wouldn't last a round with any noteable fighter from the past, then you have morons calling Whitaker a "clown" and saying he doesn't stand a chance against Pac.

    It's embarrassing.

Right, he gets brutally KOed even tho Pea survived a prime Tito at 147, despite being many years removed from his prime as well as being a cokehead around that time. :patsch

And you have to admit that in the LOWER weight classes where PAC has come from, the MAJORITY of the top level fighters are NOT BLACK AFRICAN AMERICANS. They are mostly latino....so PAC didn't really have many options as he moved up.

When PAC did try to secure a fight with the BEST African American fighter out there the "BEST" went on vacation, opting out of potentially the richest fight in boxing history. Can't make a man fight if he doesn't want it.

Manny likes challenges...that's why he's held in such high regard b/c he places himself in situations where the odds seem to be stacked well against him. He doesn't take the easiest path when it comes to solidifying his place in boxing history. He could fight more defensive, using his speed, footwork and ability to outpoint his oppostiion risking as little as possible....he could look to face smaller men, who are not operating near or even close to his level...

Yet PAC fights all of his fights with the thought of trying to give the fans a very entertaining fight even though that means putting himself at risk and PAC seeks out BIGGER challenges instead of picking on easier opposition so he can continue to win without risking any chances of a loss.

Pac may like his rice fluffed, his meat cut for him but I think it's clear PAC enjoys beating up his own opponents. Now only if Floyd somehow located his "urge" to challenge himself against PAC. We'd get to see PAC fight not just any African American fighter...but the self proclaimed "BEST"!.
