Thats the big mistake people make in boxing 'the power wouldn't be enough to keep X off of him'. People have said it time and again about Mayweather, who no 'can't punch for ****' according to his uncle. But if Mayweather is hitting his opponent clean, his opponent is off balance and can't punch back effectively, THE END

If Meldrick Taylor is 15seconds from beating Chavez and Whitaker schools him then so does Floyd :yep

Mayweather's physical strength is mad underrated, more so at higher weights he's campaigned at. People do it with Duran as well, a lot of fighters who have a high degree of skill get their physical strength underrated.

This is true, I actually think Chavez was sloppier at 130 than he would become as he matured

If clean shots from ****ing Rosario didnt make Chavez blink, then i have no reason to believe Floyds power would bother Chavez at all.

Yeah, most likely true, educated pressure is something that probably positively correlates with maturity. He was always sharp and relentless though. This is the great pick'em at 130 for me, or at least the most hard for me to try and analyze, personally.

I see this as a very close fight. I think Mayweather wins the first half and Chavez wins the second.

If I was forced to pick a winner I would say that Mayweather eeks out a decision by picking up just enough rounds in the first half of the fight.

I agree Floyd really picks his shots and is not super active as well. Thats why i think the fight is close here. Chavez came forward with a lot of pressure and punches.

Mayweather is not in the same class as Whitaker.

I'm not saying he would get physically knocked out, but I see Chavez applying enough significant pressure against mayweather on the ropes to get a TKO from a modern referee.

H2H is completely up to you, but there is absolutely no comparison between resume.
