Dude That was back in 94. Isn't that 16 years ago? If you actually have a brain you know back then Hopkins was not at his peak back then. And back then he wasn't that much of a slick fighter.

 

The better argument is that Hopkins was fighting in a bull ring in Ecuador at a very high altitude, which resulted in the only time he was ever dropped, and he then beat Mercado in a rematch.

 

But nothing is worse then Sturm lost by tko to a freaking smaller fighter Castiilejo. <<<That's totally embarrassing to say the least. And this is the same Castillejo that lost easily by a shape De la hoya.

Hopkins has a style weakness to fast 2 handed fighters, who can match him for size.

If I had of put a poll down for my excellent post about Pascal beating Dawson on points, no one would have payed attention and would have just said Dawson, without reading what I wrote.

Surely by putting in a poll it makes you look better if you get something right that most people thought wouldnt happen.

 

Nobody owns up after and say they changed their minds at the last minute but had already voted.

Hopkins' resume is far better, and Hopkisn would easily .. very very easily beat Sturm.

Sturm may be able to box with a natural 145 pound guy, but he is so overrated it is ridiculous.
