I don't recall the Tyson documentary saying it was asthma but I do recall a degenerative lung issue. Thought he developed it after Prison.

 

Briggs needs to stop looking for sympathy, he chooses to box despite his condition, good on him but whatever disadvantage he puts himself at is his own choice. You never hear Lance Armstrong claiming to be "the greatest one testicled cyclist in the world".

Lance Armstrong beat 3 kinds of cancers. His one testicle is the size of 3 normal men's balls.

Not counting his testicle being huge from cancer.
