And would have owned Benn, Eubank and Watson. The man was a beast.

Excellent fighter. Better than any of the British Isles fighters. Bit lucky in his 2nd fight against Graham apparently though.
His demolition of Dewitt was special!

Fair points regarding the 2nd fight but even Eubank admitted in subsequent interviews that Watson beat him. Watson had the ability to top all of them but the tragedy/getting affected by court battles/not always fighting with the right tactics etc meant he didnt reach his full potential.

As I say not saying he tops the list but he had the potential and deserves more mention when debating this again (nothing wrong with that by the way, it is 1 of if our best era in British Boxing History)

    Calzaghe
    Reid
    Collins
    Watson
    Eubanks
    Woodhall
    Benn

The key thing here though is Benn is the weakest of the lot.

    Woodhall > Benn?!

    Try:

    Calzaghe
    Watson
    Collins
    Reid
    Benn
    Woodhall
    Eubank

Far more accurate :deal - even though I can see a case for Collins > Watson.

"I was outboxed," Eubank admits. "Out-fought. Out-thought. I was made to look like a boy. But you see, there was great nobility in me because I stayed and took the beating.

"I didn't quit. That is what makes a great boxer, a great nobleman. It is noble to go the distance, no matter how it ends up."

Two feet away, Watson simply nods in agreement

Taken from when they first spoke since the tragic 2nd fight. Pretty clear admission he thought he got beat you moron

Do you your ****ing research before ignorant comments like that tosser, clearly a Eubank ass-licker from youir previous posts any negative points even relevent and in my case FACT you argue against it

Yea actually I think it was. Either way my original point was right, Watson was unlucky not toget the decsion in the first and was up on points before the last in the 2nd. And post ONE of thier fights Eubank admitted Watson was the only person to have beaten him up to that point. For this he deserves more mention than he gets imo.

My point werent enough to be called a plonker with some of the **** written on here. Besides the guys clearly bias towards Eubank, a fan should know he admitted Watson beat him

If you look through my posts i dont refer to what fight specifically as i wasnt 100% sure without reminding myself. Idiot

Did he or did he not ADMIT Watson beat him? And was Watson ahead at time of stoppage in the 2nd fight? And was there question marks on the winner of the first fight where Watson outworked him?

You werent even aware he'd said Watson beat him IN EITHER FIGHT you thick bias ****, your supposed to be a fan and know these things. Credit where due, Watson beat your boy twice deal with it

Watson beat him twice?, ah no, he arguably beat him once and had his career sadly ended in the rematch.
