'The IBF, plans to organise a four-fighter tournament with the winner facing world heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko.

The IBF are negotiating with the quartet of France's Jean-Marc Mormeck, America's Johnathon Banks, plus Russians Alexander Dimitrenko and Denis Boytsov.

The winner of the tournament would than face Klitschko.

It it were to happen, that would take out a chunk of time that a Wlad vs Haye fight can happen.

Didn't Povetkin already win an IBF tournament and then didn't take his shot? Seems like this could be another wast of time, the contenders don't exactly set me alight.

Also, boxing news on RTE thats not about an Irish boxer? Bizarre.

Not really. If the first round of fights take place in December, the Final will be in April.

Haye and Wlad can fight in April/May/June next year. Simples.

However Haye will come out with an excuse about his mandatory to once again avoid the fight.

Mormeck's fighting Rahman next allegedly. He doesn't win that IMO.

Not interested now Boytsov is out.

    Banks - boring
Povetkin - should be fighting for a title already, already beat Chambers
Chambers - already lost to Povetkin and Klitschko
Mormeck - not a heavyweight, past it

What's going on with Adamek, surely he ought to be in an IBF tourney?
