Coley Welch I actually know his daughter very well as she is my Secretary in the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame. I just got off the phone with her to make sure it was Coley Welch.
She told me that it is in "Ripley's believe it or not" She also said that her sister has the article and she will give me a copy of it hopefully by next Thursday.
well, thanks very much fella. thats the second time this week 'ripleys' has been mentioned....burt made reference to it... i'll have to furnish myself with a copy.
Interesting stuff. :good There's a picture of the fight here : http://news.google.co.uk/newspapers...9,6039119&dq=steve+belloise+coley+welch&hl=en Berbick went down three times from Tyson's last punch, and wouldn't have touched down for a fourth time had Mills Lane not been there to catch him ! I think the incident says almost as much about Berbick's desire to carrying on as it does about Tyson's impressive power.
