Whats the chances of Eddie Hyland getting into Prizefighter? Would he take it if he was offered it. Seems to have the makings of the best prizefighter in a long long time. The heavyweights were the biggest letdown so far.
Eddie wont be in it He took time off to get married and is due back in the gym soon, I'd love to see Pajo move up to Super-Feather purely for Prizefighter, Think he has the right tools to walk away with it.
Adam time to get married? he has'nt fought for ten months and just got married if im not mitaken. i always thought this excuse was shite. What is really going on with Eddie Hyland??
I thought Eddie was going to retire....? Saw it here: http://www.irishboxers.ie/boxing_news.html Also an article there on Paulie
How much time does it take to get married these days? No messing but if the lad has lost the passion for fighting then so be it retire. As seen with other fighters who took the chance of doing prizefighter if you win it you are a certain for a European title fight at least and a couple of fights away from a World title. So if it was any other fighter they would jump at the chance to fight in it.
Alot of boxers have taking a break from boxing in their time, 10 months aint very long, but ive never heard anything about him retiring
I was wondering the same thing. Very disappointed he didn't get the nod for prizefighter and now he's missing two Peters shows in a row, whats up?
Anyone else hear that Jamie Power has retired? I know a few lads on here made a few quid on Waldron when he beat Power for the Irish Title in May. Waldron was a 4/1 or 5/1 if I remember correctly
Lokks like Finbarr Eade, Darren Cruise and Paddy McDonagh will be on the card as well. McDonagh moving up to L-Heavyweight http://www.irishboxers.ie/events_and_results.html
Sweeney wont duck a challenge anyway- going out to Germany now. Hope the sparring with Klitscho has helped him for the future
