Which trainer throughout history would you pick to train you ?

    Which trainer throughout history would you pick to train you ? another thread was made, which fighter would you pick to train you, so I thought this would be good to.

    Personally I'd pick George Benton, or Bill Miller.

    Haha I know , sorry was in the wrong thread , I was answering to which boxer of today would I have train me.

    still... I often wonder if it's a good thing to have a really skilled boxer as a trainer. I'd imagine a trainer who was also very skilled and athletic would have a more difficult time training the average joes like us because he wouldn't understand why we can't do the same things that he's doing.

    Personally I'd rather have a boxer who wasn't so athletically gifted train me because it means he knows how to box well despite not being so special.

    To answer the OP, I'd probably pick Futch, seems like a really nice guy who's really concerned about his fighter's well being and obviously because he's a real guru of the sport.
