Ogogo..'in two years time I'll be unbeatable'....

Only if you do not fight anyone. He got embarrassed in that fight.

O'Kane and Gallagher would suit the pro's i'd say. Gallagher needs to sort his stamina out though.

I didnt say he wasnt better, Im saying that he wasnt that much better. The Northern Ireland team seem to have perfected the style for amateur boxing, high guard and picking off individual shots. It makes for boring fights with fighters too scared to throw combanations and risk getting hit.

I don't know about O'Kane [he's 28 for one, so not gonna turn pro], he's strong and looks like he can punch but he relies so much on the those gloves, he can't tuck up like that in the pro's and I'm not sure he's got the ability to control the range with his jab or the footwork to defend himself either.

was thinking the same myself but i think that o'kane punches so hard that it moves his head back as well as the gloves so giving the impression they were scoring?

all in all a impressive display. i think hes going pro after this. at 28 he could be moved quick and has a good entertaining style for the pros

I think O'Kane is turning over after the games finding it hard to get a look in with O'Neill at Middleweight

I was thinking the same and was surprised they weren't being scored, then O'Kane gets a slew of points for it. :think

I know what you're saying and I agree with you, that peek-a-boo style can be boring to watch, and some fighters can hide behind it to steal a win. I just think that fight was a poor example as O'Kane was pretty active and I though it was a pretty decent scrap with the clearly better man winning.
