Peter Gabriel also did 'sledgehammer' and that's what Chisora will have to avoid for 12 rounds.

I hope you're right (even considering travelling to Germany for it) but he is a rank outsider...

Technically Chisora is rubbish but he has intangiables. His beard looks okay, strong, powerful and tenacious. Good qualities to face Wlad BUT you don't know if you can handle Wlads attributes until you face him. Tall, rangey, fast, powerful and smart. Nevertheless, Chisora is bringing those belts home.

    Lol. I think hate's a bit strong.

I don't hate them. Ive got a lot of respect for them. But if the best fight Wlad can get is Derek Chisora, what's he hanging about for?

My agenda is not wanting a fighter I consider to be boring (as do many others) to spend the last few years of their career fighting meaningless bouts that do nothing for their legacy.

    I don't see what's wrong with that.

Chisora, like some of Wlad's other opponents, might go on to do fairly decent things.

1.Because he's still around his peak so there's no reason for him to go anywhere just yet.

and 2. Because David Haye might quit playing games and finally step up to fight him in the future so he might as well stay busy and fight someone rather than let ring rust set in. He's not ready to retire yet and he has to keep fighting to stay sharp. Anyone who has the balls to get in the ring with him, he will fight, it just so happened that Chisora had the balls, and it's a pretty weak division anyway so there's not a whole lot of choice in the first place. It's not about legacy, it's a keep busy fight, and I like fighters to keep busy because it means more fights for us boxing fans. Haye's not very busy, he only fights twice a year but does that mean he only chooses to take the biggest, most meaningful fights because of that? No.

Besides, according to you, beating Audley will do nothing for Haye's legacy but you have no problem with that fight because Haye's making a lot of money off it. So if Wlad was getting a huge payday fighting Chisora you would be okay with it but because he's not, you would rather he retire?... It doesn't make sense, especially since you're not a Wlad fan anyway and cosider him boring so why be bothered if he fights or not, or if this fight does anything for his legacy? Just don't watch the fight if him staying active bothers you so much. Best option.

Don't diss Del boy for taking this fight, rubbish this fight, which is clearly what you are ultimately trying to do.

Haye's behaviour over the past couple of years is now widely seen as a total joke, his credibility all but more or less evaporated.

The difference is, Wlad doesn't need a huge payday. Haye does, because he may well get beaten by Wlad in the next year or so.

And if Wlad beats Haye, he wont even get a great deal of credit for it. We are talking about a guy who doesn't fight very often, is a blown up cruiserweight, has no chin and isn't even proven at heavyweight.

Is this worth waiting around for? No.

You guessed it, Im not a Wlad fan but how could I comment on him if I didn't even watch him fight?
The fact Im still prepared to tune in to watch a fighter I dont even care for just goes to show my love for boxing.
