Bringing up examples of other fighters that you think were scared to fight other fighters does not even come close to making a point about Floyd being scared to fight Pac. Floyd isn't going to walk into the ring and fight PAc like Seldon fought Tyson. That's my point.

I get ya but in Floyd I think its more that "it may tarnish his luster" fear and Pac has been impressive lately. Floyds his own worst enemy at times and thats why the backlash on him.
If Floyd fights Pac early next year while both still are legitimate, Ill eat my crow. I dont even care who wins at this point, I just want to see the fight.

Not really, people have emotions. Even in chess in which there is no physicality certain players are afraid of players that are big threat to them. A classic example is Kasparov, many GM are scared to play against him. Even in less physical sport like basketball, certain teams are afraid of superior team, so what more with boxing, which is physically more hurting.
As some poster here mentioned, yeah after the Hatton fight, Floyd looks up for the possibility of facing Pacquiao, thinking he will not be as good at 147, then there comes Pacquiao’s victory over Cotto, which obviously inserted a fear and doubts on Floyd’s heart.

Both fighters are great fighters. One is not liked, so he's called a coward. The other is/was called a PED user. I did not call PAc a coward when the 1st negotiations stalled, nor would I ever accuse him of using PED's.

I can't go that route to make friends with other posters of my ethnicity or not. I only know how to keep it real, and neither Floyd or PAc are close to fearing each other. I want to see the fight just like you, but I waited a year or more for Hearns/Leonard to happen, and it did.

Obviously lol... See what I mean about these examples that have nothing to so with Floyd or Pac:lol:. Floyd does not fear Pac. Why should he...because PAc beat Hatton and Cotto? Floyd is clearly better than both of those guys...

i think PBF wants to fight pac but his reluctance (because of the chance of losing his 0) is holding him back.

Once the "0" is gone, and so is the money. So, yeah he will fight pac then retire if he gets defeated.

Mayweather is avoiding the Pacquiao fight. The clincher is when Manny agreed to Floyd's 14 day cut-off test, Floyd doesn't have the urge and is on vacation. How naive can you get.

Mayweather wanted the fight the first time. After pacman destroyed hatton and cotto in spectacular fashion manny and bob had the leverage At the negotiation table and they used it to Give manny every possible advantage in the fight. (ring size, make of glove, huge fine in case may came in over weight) being who he is mayweather sought a way to ruffle bob and manny's feathers, hinge his insistance on the drug test. Floyds argument for testing was flimsy so he insisted it was the beginning of a nation wide effort to stomp out illegal performance enhancer(which was bull****). What manny and bob did next actually played to mayweathers advantage. Instead of just taking the test and then mayweathers ass, everyone in the camp comes out and give four or five lies as to why manny can't take the test. (he's scared of needles,it will weaken him,Floyd doesn't dictate drug policy, etc.) then genius bob whispers in manny's ear and convinces him to file a law suit. That effectively ended the first round of negotiations.
So manny fights clottey instead. The fight is not only a stinker. It so obviously a dive it effectively ruin

Pacquiao would have never sent Mayweather a contract if he really thought he'd sign it. How do you go from refusing to make any reasonable compromise on the PED testing issue to agreeing to everything?
Pacquiao rather fight Clottey and Margrito.

    Cont.......
Ruined clotteys marketablity. Pac defeats another big top ten welter. Hood ****. Mayweather sets up a fight with the one man everyone has always insisted had the tools to stal mayweathers 0. After the second round scare Floyd ****s mosely up. Exposes his age and effectively ruined his marketability.
Now mayweather believed since he had the bigger win he was in the drivers seat. He openly states in the post fight that if manny doesn't take the test with no cut off there is no fight. Bob and manny say ok 14 days. Mayweather says too late. No cut off. Bob says no deal. Floyd says fine I'm money mat I can still make money without manny. Bob says not everyone thinks your a lussy for this fight not happening. Bob then uses the sports media to trample mayweather for ducking the fight. Espn covered bobs bull**** countdown and everyone from wellbon to Scott called mayweather a *****.

Conclusion:mayweather wanted the fight and the money but he will not allow himself to bow to bob arum.

    The End
