    You're a moron.

Cotto weighed 146 vs Clottey, so obviously 145 didn't hurt him vs Pacquiao.

And 150 is a GREAT weight for Margarito. He fought his whole career at 147 basically, and has only recently moved to 154, but when he fought at 154 earlier in his career vs Daniel Santos, he looked like the man with the naturally smaller frame and inferior strength, Santos being a natural lmw.

Also, some truly great fighters from history have fought in catchweight title fights. If it was good enough for Whitaker and Chavez, it's good enough for Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito!

    I agree.

The thing that's bad about the catchweight title fights is they confuse people.
There are already enought weight classes without these catchweight fights.

But if that's the way to make the fight then rather that than no fight at all, the alphabet titles today are world champion titles in name only anyway.

I think it's a pretty ***** move. If you're the man you should fight in the proper weight divisions. If you want to come in at 151, that's up to you but the other person shouldn't have to accomodate to these weird catch weights. Especially when a title is on the line too.

Also, hurts his credibility, since he has been sold as this hardcore warrior for his entire career.

if boxing rules allow catchweights, then there's really no problem in there.

don't hate the player, hate the game.

    Are you confused? Bewildered?

Then don't worry about the weight classes and just thank God that at least they are fighting and not on vacation.

However, if you are a *****, thank God for PEDS, vacation as excuses because that is what is saving them from committing mass suicide.

A small fighter who would probably be best at 140 fighting junior middleweights! Losing credibility is his least worries.

This is not a case of a full pledge welterweight who has been fighting in that division for the past 5 years asking a lightweight to go up 2 divisions for a fight.

Hardcore warrior is fighting fighters way bigger than you and by due respect, people see you as the favorite.
