Only when Giardello has an off night. I´m more of a fan of Graziano but Giardello at his best was much better.

Think we had this one a while ago.

Giardello should outbox Graziano, but Joey didn't always do what he should have. You always knew what you were going to get with Graziano, hard work, pressure and KO power from the opening round to the last. At their best, it's Giardello winning, possibly by a TKO, as he wouldn't have to go looking for Graziano to land his counters.

If memory serves me correct, Giardello was born in the oppressive wasteland of new York, when as young child he and his family fled and were able to escape to the peaceful oasis of South PHILLY! The memory of his haunted and wasted NY years would surely haunt him and propell him to victory!

    Giardello UD

Joey would have wayy too much on the ball for Rocky..a lopsided decision would be my call for Giardello.

This would be my first reaction ,I am a fan of Joey, but he lost to Terry Downes ,and he patently shouldn't have.

Giardello''s work ethic was up and down ,and the result was inconsistant performances, having said that Rocky can't out point him, and Giardello was too smart to catch that ,right hand on the chin.

Giardello could whack a bit too. Joey by mid to late rounds tko.

The Giardello that decisioned Dick Tiger to win the title would have pitched a near shutout vs Rocky.

I think Giardello would side step Rocky's right hand all night and pick him off with quick jabs and hooks. Giardello's footwork and smarts make the night a tough one for Rocky...
