Very close 1st yes and was ahead in the second before the tragedy and as I have been reminded by borochris Eubank admitted he got beat. Outworked in both, outclassed in and outfought in the 2nd. Dont just look at the 'W' column man, JMM beat Pac twice aswell ya know just coz it doesnt say on boxrec dont mean he didnt win the fight

Well i for 1 am happy to fight Watsons corner in this, he dont get enough props for me. I did say originally the tragedy meant we couldnt see the full picture of how his record stacks and that he needs more consideration not just 'he beat benn but got beat twice by Eubank'

that eubank quote is definitely about the second fight and as we all know watson definitely did not win that fight. being up on the cards is one thing but hundreds of fighters have been up and lost and dont claim it as a win.

    first fight tight though.

Do we?? Coz, skip to 8.44, even EUBANK admits he was beaten in that fight. When you are listing fighter's records in order you cant just use what it says who wins in boxrec. Fact is Eubank admitted that Watson outfought, outboxed and outclassed him. he was beaten, had it not been for Watson suffering the tragedy he did

Not just about being up on the cards, he was, but you gotta look at the whole story. Eubank has too many questionable results and poor fighters on his WBO reign to be number 1 on this list

Herbie Hide also beat Vitali Klitschko. The fight's ending doesn't count.

Resume wise, probably Benn and Calzaghe sit on top.

Assuming you're being sarcastic in the 2nd sentence. The 1st didnt even make sense! That was a devastating 2nd round ko for Klitschko and has 0 relevence to this thread man.

My point is a lot of the Eubank nut-huggers on here use the 2 wins over Watson, some of the best on his record dont pass the grade when you consider Watson clearly beat him had he not suffered his brain injury in the 2nd. He was also gifted a draw when Benn beat him in the 2nd fight. Wins, opposition, how they won and the circumstances of both fighters when they fight need to be included. If it was just on wins Collins is top but he's clearly not the best fighter of that bunch however tough and respectable he was.

Too much "a beat b, b beat c= a must be better than c" crap going on. Look at the whole story thats all im saying. Ive made my point on Watson not getting the credit he deserves and its clearly valid by the amount of people jumping to Eubanks defense even when I said im not hating on Eubank
