Is there a rehydration clause for the Margarito fight?

It aint an argument that Cotto and Oscar weren't held to rehydration clauses. They were.
They both came in very very light.

Whether Margarito will as well is speculation, but it wouldn't surprise me

 

For them to know that they had to weighed him in on fight night and when they do that they usually show that a long with his stats, is there a screenshot like the one i posted of his fight with Mosley showing what was his weight on fight night?

That's like saying, 'The last time he fought at 147lbs, he stepped into the ring at 160lbs...but because his scheduled bout is at 151lbs, he should step into the ring at 164lbs.'

If anything, making 151lbs will be easier than making 147lbs...which in turn means him re-hydrating overnight to say 159lbs is viable.

How the **** do you know he was 168 pounds? there was no fight night weight for Cotto-Margarito. They both weighed 147. Did you size him up from your TV and decide that's how much he weighed?

When Margo fought Santos at the full 154lb limit, he came in the ring at 160 lbs while Santos was at 170lbs.

When Margo fought Mosley at the 147lb WW limit, he came in the ring at 160 lbs.

Against Pac, I'm guessing Margo will try to come in around 165lbs, since he will probably try to maximize his weight advantage. However, he might just come in around 160 like he usually does.

according to cotto's trainer, cotto came in at 158 during the fight while weighing in at 145. definitely no such so-called "rehydration clause" here.

as for dlh, it's his fault that he came in so light during fightnight against pac. he had the wrong strategy in making weight. he was already @147 one month before the fight. he virtually shrunk himself to a small welterweight and that's why he wasn't able anymore to gain weight after the weigh-in. the right strategy was for him to make 147 gradually and finally make weight at the latest possible moment before weigh-in so that he can properly re-hydrate himself for the fight.
