Where is Holyfield on your ATG Heavyweight list?

Sadly people use the same criteria to actually rate Bowe very Highly

 

TommyV Rocky was ranked 6th or 7th in 1962 in a poll of boxing writers to that date. So how do you get number 1 50 years later when heavies have gone from 195 to 225. A new division was introduced at 190, because the lighter heavies could not compete anymore. Holyfield prove 200-210 could still kick ass at the highest level but he was an extremely talented exception.

As a modern day cruiser, 10 pounds heavier than when holyfield fought and 7 pounds more with the next day weighin. I rate Holyfield as a contender for the best ever.

I think Holyfield record against super heavies is good indication of how the Joe Lewis and dempsey would get on today.

PS WHY DOES IT ALWAYS COME DOWN TO WHETHER HE CAN BEAT SOMEONE OF THE CALIBRE OF ALI?? Is Ali the only boxer you are aware of?? Where is the evidence any fighter would beat a fighter like Ali - there is no "EVIDENCE" because the only guys who we can say they's any remote evidence on of being able to beat Ali is Joe Frazier, and Kenny Norton but.....again we can't prove anything dumbass - you can't prove anything - and your point of view is no more and no less legitimate than mine because there's no evidence anything you spout would happen because evidence is factual - this is hypothetical on the whole unless you actually do have factual evidence such as in the case of Bowe at his best beating Holyfield at his best before your very eyes!!!!
