No you shut up Tommygunn - rating Bowe lower than Holyfield after he beat the best version of Holyfield - that's insane - and I've already given a comeback about the juvenile remark about rating Golota over Bowe -so do one yourself - what you going to do rate Tommy Burns over Jack Johnson next because he had a better resume as champion - when clearly Johnson beat Tommy's ass??? If you beat someone when you're both at your best best I'd say that makes it pretty conclusive to be honest

You have the 2nd worst heavyweight list I have ever seen, marginally beaten into 2nd place by frankenfrank's. Your criteria is also stupid. So it's undisputed champions? Why is Vitali on there? Why is Holmes on there? Why is Spinks on there?

How is that insane? I think you'll find most people rate Bowe below Holyfield on heavyweight lists. Because most people have a criteria that takes into account resumé and accomplishment. Yours seems to be purely on a H2H basis. And it's still absolutely terrible. Rocky gets his arse beaten by most of your top 10 for starters. And then you've got Sullivan that high? And Braddock and Spinks on there? And go on about the 'I'm only using undisputed champions which is why they're on there' bollocks because a lot of the names on your list weren't even technically undisputed.

 

Not really insane at all actually. Bowe had every advantage possible and Holyfield still made a hell of a fight out of it. AND Holyfield also beat Bowe in the rematch, which proves if Holyfield didn't brawl with Bowe that he should've beaten him in the first place.
holyfield>Bowe based on resume. True Bowe beat holy ONCE and so Holy beat Bowe too.
I don't count the 3rd fight because of evander's health issues.

And to be honest I don't rate Jack Johnson that highly based on lack of footage and just how simple he really was

 

Well I don't count the 2nd fight because Bowe was woefully out of shape - it works both ways Tommy - ps lots of fighters have made great fights out of it but still lost at the end of the day

No TommyV most people I know who are boxing fans - pretty much to a man rate Bowe over Holyfield based on the fact that on there best days Bowe beat Holyfield - simple as - yes there is a certain amount of resume and accomplishment and record etc but not in cases where guys did fight each other when both were at their peak - after all why else would we all argue about who would win between so-and-so - if it doesn't really matter anyway?? That's just completely ridiculous - in that vain why challenge for a title - why not just say to the champion well my resume so far is better than yours so i may as well just take the belt without fighting you because that wouldn't prove anything anyway even if you beat me?? yeah sure bowe had some fat on him in The second fight (that just shows how inconsistent he was) but he was still game and it's not like he was as sick or uncharacteristic as holy was.
