Abraham - Froch staredown & Helsinki presser pictures

Not only is Abraham one of the toughest guys in boxing but p4p he's one of the hardest punchers as well. His boxing and speed are not great but he is the best at coming back with one punch. I was strugling to pick a winner until a few people just reminded me on this thread about how much Froch drops his hands and he can't do that in this one because at any time in the fight Abraham can finish it in one punch. I think this one will be close until Froch drops his hands and Abraham lands one of those bombs some time after the 9th.

 

I wonder what the odds will be like.

I´m looking forward to a Foreman-Lyle kinda fight Two punchers trading punches until one of them isn´t able to get up anymore.
The tougher soab will win that one

In all likelyhood, Froch will get KOed.

Froch is underrated, though. He's neither as unskilled nor as slow as people make him out to be.

Froch symbolises everything this sport needs in these dire times where you have fighters unwilling to fight eachother.

Nope, Mayweather talks the most shite and you know it (and I'm a Mayweather fan)...the only reason you don't like Froch is because of the Dirrell bout.

Every boxer has an excuse when they lose or come close to losing.

 

explosive press conference by the way. froch on top form as he asks AA if he was proud that he put dirrell in hospital with an illegal punch and then he turns on sauerland and starts basically telling him that he has crooked judges.

Abraham by destruction. Froch does not have the tools to fend Abraham off and you guys would realize that if you believed the stuff you were spouting about Abraham "getting to" Dirrell near the end of that fight. The truth is he was getting closer and started landing on Dirrell more and Dirrell has a hell of a lot more ability, speed, and skills. It's a styles thing. Froch can't jab his way to victory and he will be knocked out. More importantly, Abraham can take a hell of a lot better than Froch can too.

I love how you Brits don't understand some of the hate Froch gets. Yes, he mans up and that's respectable, but the guy is one of the most deluded fighters out there with one of the most annoying personalities in the sport. I don't hate Froch, but he makes it hard to root for. He wouldn't be more loved if he was American. He's not Gatti-like in terms of class, guts, and heart. You'll see that when Abraham forces Froch to "run."

Froch looks nervous in the press conference and face off. This is one of the few times he'll the press conference and the fight.

 

Froch needs a stiffer jab if he wants to win this one
