quick question, is Manny intelligent enough win a fight that's not based on his natural abilities? ( speed, and Power) When was the last time Manny had to think in the ring or won a fight by out thinking his opponent? Feel free to Jump on the Margo beats Manny ship 1. Pacs power over 140 is overrated who did he actually show power against, was is it Cotto, get the **** out of here. The truth is Cotto had lost his punch resistance way before Manny got to him, all his wars and the margo beat down took all of it out of him. Then Roach takes 2 pounds of punch resistance from a guy who was already a lemon. 2. Margo's body shots will stop manny's movement later on in the fight just as it stopped cotto's. I don't have time to look for the clips, but Manny is not a fan of body shops, and doesn't take them well. 3. Distance: Everybody says manny's power comes from the punches you can't see, the key to that is distance if you're the taller fighter and set the right distance you can see any punch coming. With Margo applying pressure and keeping the right space between them he can see all the shots manny has coming. 4. Roach: Did you see how Margo looked at Roach during the Kellerman face off, he looked like he was ready to murder him. Margo will do anything to win that fight, Peds, guns, knives you name it, he's bringing it to the ring. 5. Manny fights like he's half mexican meaning that the game plan Roach has will not get implemented. When was the last time we saw manny have a real game plan that wasn't based on him using his speed or power. All that punch, and use angles to get away will not work, as soon a manny gets hit he's hitting back. Manny has never been a back up fighter, and there are times he will have to out smart Margo, and not exchange. Feel free to add the fact Margo has the most punch resistance of any fighter Pac has ever faced, and a hard chin to go with it. Also tge fact that the catchweight will do nothing for Manny because Margo can still make 147. Feel free to pull my post up after the fight or put your money up
You missed the fact that Margarito has a good uppercut, which Pacquaio will a few off I think. Margarito is a dead weight in my opinion. Shane ****ed him up something bad. Manny will probably **** him up, not quite as bad, but getting there.
I think he had time to recover, and is not as ****ed up as Roach thinks by the way do u know where I can find the garcia vs Margo fight?
You need to go Watch Margarito's last fight plz... against that Can Garcia, take a good look at how he fairs when also wearing 10oz gloves (no plaster either) . You are so wrong, Pacquiao see's every punch coming and counters Margo with hard shots all day. Easy night, Margarito will try and smother the smaller man, but he will be too fast and skilled for him. Edit- all these people looking at Margarito's pictures right now and saying he looks like a beast and what not... he always has looked like that, hell almost every fighter looks like that when training. These guys all look great... Margarito looked great in the training pictures prior to fighting Mosley as well as Garcia.
http://boxing-fights.com/?gclid=CNuCn6zS06QCFZtp4wodcnPQKg Go to the Antonio Margarito part and they're selling it on a disc with 3 other fights if you want to see it that badly. Back to the main point, Shane destroyed him to the body and the head, he looked genuinely hurt and at Margarito's age, taking his style into account, you don't want to be beaten like that. Stick a fork in him.
What AM wants to do and what he can actually do come fight time are 2 different things. Some of Pac's previous opponents had a perfect game plan until they fought him and after that, they're perfect plan turned out to be not so perfect.
1. Margarito is far too slow 2. Margarito is way too easy to hit 3. Margarito doesnt have the footwork to corner Pac often enough 4. Margarito is out of his league technically 5. Margarito can only fight one way, straight ahead Those 5 reasons are closer to reality on why you will probably be wrong.
Well....Manny uses what he was given from birth that sets him apart from all others...but he definitley is a thinking fight now more than ever. He cleverly sets up his offense with shifty defensive moves which allows him to be a aggressive and relentless as he's shown. Manny just doesn't go in to his fights anymore with reckless abandon throwing the 1,2 (right left) combo...he's got a lot more substance and depth to his craft. I think by you "THINKING" manny is a mindless offesnive fighter will give you a very warped perception of what should or will take place in December. Don't place a bet based on your current state of mind regarding Manny as a fighter.
