Ryan Rhodes vs Lukas Konecny

I would fancy Rhodes to outbox him, but he needs to remain active at this age.

 

Lucas is a cyborg and will win this one. Rhodes overcame Moore in a war but Lucas will not budge and i think he will stop ryan in the later rounds.

 

Rhodes via a comfortable decision. Opinion has not changed even after the Hall fight. Neither man is getting stopped here and I can't see Konecny's activity and simplistic, rough & tumble approach being enough to over-run Rhodes obviously advantage in technical skill.

 

Rhodes would win this unless father time has caught up with him.

 

Still some questions why it didn't happen at mag 7. Ryan didn't respond to the allegations he ducked out. He knows what he'll have to go through to beat lukas. At this point in his career, does he fancy it?

 

Rhodes wide UD, will be one of the toughest fights of his career imo.

 

This fight has been on-off for quite some time now (since before the Jamie Moore fight). With talk of a 'world' title shot in the works, I honestly think Konecny is a fight Rhodes doesn't need now.

 

Rhodes needs this world title shot as soon as possible before its too late

 

Rhodes by tight decision. Konecny would take a number of rounds on activity, but I don't think he has quite enough power to beat Rhodes. If the fight somehow ended up in Germany (it won't), I'd probably pick Konecny. It's that close. I just suspect that judges in England will favor Rhodes' flashier style.

 

Konecny's win over Hall was simply him beating a guy that had already been exposed at the level below that, against Small. It was more brutal and emphatic, but not much more impressive. And Hall was clearly not gifted with a granite chin.

Rhodes is tough, can still move and can punch a lot harder than his style sometimes suggests. I think he'll take this comfortably - to beat Rhodes you need to cut the ring down, keep firing shots and defend yourself well enough that his own sneaky shots don't undo you.

Konecny won't be able to do all three. But if Rhodes has really aged, then it could be closer.

 

Hall made Lukas look very good. When really distance and a good jab keeps him pretty honest.

Rhodes wins this very easily the levels are quite different.

 

Rhodes would have some iffy moments early but once he makes the adjustment it's one way traffic en route to a clear decision.

As mentioned, Konecny doesn't have the tools to offset what Rhodes brings, i.e. awkwardness, defence and decent power.

Hall was made to order and fought the wrong fight.... Ryan is superior in every department to my knowledge, especially his ring IQ.
