10% is also about how much I care about what comes out of Paul William's mouth.

When you learn to throw a jab, you generally aren't 6'2" with an enormous wingspan.

That’s disappointing to hear. If 90% of your training camp is based physical fitness only, then you need to have your trainer booted (if you even have one!).

    I doubt it's true though.

I don't think that's really saying anything. Yeah, the regime works for his style, but the complaint many people have is that, given his natural attributes, he probably ought have a different style and consequently a different regime (or vice versa).

Paul is one of the biggest mysteries in the sport of boxing. Does he not watch tapes of great fighters of the past, and see that tall guys are supposed to keep people at the end of a jab and cross?:huh

Paul Williams is always talking baloney. I doubt it's up to 90% training, but I'm sure it's a big contrast and would explain a lot. The conditioning is definitely necessary for his style.

I don't think his style should change one bit, but his technique isn't that good and he would probably knock out more people if he learned how to apply more leverage on his punches or place in some sneaky punches that opponents don't see coming.

He is actually very open and easy to time and if someone with a bigger punch than Verno Philips, Margarito or Martinez could time him I'm sure he will be put unconscious.

Still impressive for what he does, but I'd like to see him with guys his size.

Williams could be so much better if he had a better trainer.

Well, this explains him not using all of his advantages like height, reach and a strong jab. He obviously has good conditioning because he throws 1000 punches a fight but he should be working on quality, not quantity.

If he boxed tall behind an accurate jab and straight-right, he'd be very difficult to beat.

If this is true (and watching him fight, I have no reason to believe it's not) then he really needs a new trainer.

Lol. That's one way of saying he doesn't know what he's doing, i.e. technically.
