a thread a few months back asked the top 2 in each division...based soley on record i put ted lewis at #2 for welter. stupid for me, cause i'm no expert but i really thought he warranted a placement somewhere

this is more of an observe one for me. i wish i knew more about ted lewis, but i couldn't really speak to his style, especially how it would translate against a modern fighter

i'm gunna pick Floyd but i'm not gunna make a point

 

One fight, I would pick PBF, but not with any confidence.
In a trilogy, Lewis would take one imo, he was all two fisted aggression, ,hit hard and was durable .Lewis split a long series with the great Welter Jack Britton ,and he campaigned against bigger men.
Floyd might make Lewis look foolish at times ,but backing up on the ropes ,and slipping punches would not be a good idea against a guy who threw as many punches as Lewis.
Ted Kid Lewis is credited with being the first to introduce the gumshield into the professional ring.

 

Is the film sped up? It looks quite good quality for the era but the ropes move strangely
