I think he was actually intimidated by Vitali there, hence the sudden change in behaviour.

when a fighter feels intimdated and frightened, he will cover up those feelings wiht something else. in this case, you can see Briggs is intimidated and went into the loud mouth mode.

if he fights with that kind of energy he wins that simple, but I highley doubt he will... how sad...

 

Don't be so dramatic usinhg terms like death etc. Briggs is just trying to sell the fight, that is basically it.Only thing that matters at the weigh in is that he came in way too heavy.

 

How can you sell a fight that nobody has intrest in? I would understand if this were on HBO or even Showtime but its not, likely most will watch this fight on ESPN3.com so there really isnt nothing to sell here.

 

Briggs is so ****ed.

 

He looks in awesome shape. Now I reckon Briggs would have a great shot against Wlad, not so sure about Vitali, but stranger things have happened.
