Mick Hennessy on Tyson Fury v Mike Perez in sparring

    Mick in an interview in this week's BN said a flabby Fury was sparring 8 rounds with a chiseled fit Perez, but Perez stepped out after 6.

    Anyone on here verify what happened in the gym that day?

    i take stuff like this with a pinch of salt...
    sparring isnt a boxing match...otherwise why would boxers need to train?, which sparring is part of.
    ie.., take i dunno, martin rogan {hes around that fury / perez level}...if he was pushed around in sparring on his first day of a two month training period, would it mean that he would be exactly like that come fight day ?
    probably havent explained that well.

    If they fought right now my money would be on Perez stopping Fury. But lets see how he gets on with Manny Steward

    rumours around my gym from heavyweight fighters from the travelling community who spar with tyson is that fury knocked out perez, i started a thread on it ages ago and got slated

    this proves there is already a hint of bullshít to the story!

    Perez has only ever been as "chiseled" as Fury has!

    Last week Fury was a joke, now the rumour of being trained by e.stewart comes out and he's been knocking people out in sparing and he's going to conquer the world!
