I think they are going to start fast and try to force a stoppage, I think Maidana does not react well when combination's are thrown at him, he goes too defensive, shells up, he's also wide open up the middle the way he holds his hands, if Khan does start fast, and manages to hurt him, he could conceivably force a stoppage, that said, Ortiz seems a bigger puncher than Khan, and Maidana does look a bit of a stayer, therefore I envisage a longer fight where Khan has some sticky moments late, but has already put enough rounds in the bank to just get over the finish line.

 

Khan will beat Maidana easily. He'll jab and pot shot with the right hand for 6 or 7 rounds, then bring the pain at the back end of the fight. Khan by TKO in thw 10th round when the ref steps in to stop the brutal beating that Maidana is taking.

I keep hearing this... I still think he gets caught with 1 too many big ones and the fight stops soon after.

 

I think the way a fighter comes back after a loss shows a lot about him as a person and as a true fighter. Khans loss was about as bad as it gets for a fighter bordering world class level.

I think he gets a pasting but if he wins I'll be the first to give him his props. He is doing what everyone said he would never do which is get in the ring with a serious puncher.
