Round 8

They swing wildly and Sheika seems to stun Diaconu a bit with another right hand. Both men immediately start to hook ferociously at each other's skulls. They both manage to avoid taking much clean due to the haste and sloppiness of both of their attacks but the sheer force of impact does carry them across the ring. Diaconu puts out his forearm and pushes Sheika away, which allows Sheika to line up a long right hand to the jaw. Diaconu lands a right upstairs and a hook to the body, throwing virtually all his power punches in bunches. Sheika is still eating jabs and has no solution for Diaconu moving around and brushing him with it.

 

Round 9

Sheika is throwing hook-2 combos and backing Diaconu up. Diaconu begins moving laterally and flurrying at Sheika's head. Sheika looks to slam Diaconu with a right hand and does land a couple by the ear despite most catching shoulder. Diaconu then begins to light him up with hooks and 1-2s to the jaw while running around Sheika and leaving him tripping himself up.

 

Round 10

Sheika starts an ambidextrous haymaker barrage. Diaconu stays careful and circles with the steady jab and long right leads. Sheika catches Diaconu up against the ropes but just lays on him before they're broken up. Sheika looks a bit winded, just following Diaconu and telegraphing big clubbing shots. Diaconu is peppering him with counters and using a lot of movement. Sheika loads up on a big right but Diaconu pushes his own through and rattles Sheika's jaw before it can be thrown. Diaconu keeps landing up to the bell while Sheika looks confused and frustrated.
