If what you say is true, then he is only 5 division, because at LWW he only won the ring belt from Ricky Hatton (and the not regarded IBO or... WBF or WBU whatever belt )

its about who you fought and when you fought them.....not about titles! I cudnt give a **** what belts in what weight classes he has! I just wanna look at the quality of opponent he faces and how he does in them fights.......so far pacman has been brilliant in that regard

That is why *****s are stupid.

Welterweight is 141-147 pounds you ****. 147 is the Welterweight LIMIT, not the minimum. You remember hearing the announcers say stuff like 'he weighed just under the LIMIT.'

Being 4 weight lineal / 3 weight Ring World champion is a better acheivement than 6 time ABC titlist!

Exactly 141-147 is welterweight, not 141-145 which is where Pac and Cotto fought!

145 is within welter. so like it or not, it is a legal weight limit for the ABCs to sanction their welter titles. but as it is, beating cotto at 145 is a much better achievement in itself than claiming the welter ABC title.

I agree that beating Cotto at 145 is better than winning a WW ABC.

I just think all title fights should allow both fighters to weigh in at the limit if they chose to, and not allow a limit within a limit!
