Where are you going with these overhyped fighters bailey.

Kessler is very overated by you again, at the time he fought calzaghe the guy had victories over andrade beyer and mundine, those wer his best wins.

Just like calzaghes it was padded with has beens and never were's.

Hopkins was champ and the win over him was sandwiched between Hopkins best wins.
Eubank had only lost to Collins and the 2nd time by SD, yet underdog Calzaghe beat him clearly. Eubank then went up to CW and had 2 close fights with the then WBO CW Champ Thompson, losing closely first time and being pulled out on injury the 2nd time when ahead.
Jones had lost but was in the Ring top 10 at LHW

A dirrell win at this point does Wards legacy **** all at this point unless Dirrell goes on to have a great career later on.And it looks like dirrells retired anyways at least for now.Neither does a win over Abraham he might have been one of the best middleweights of this decade but hes only one decent winup at super middleweight. A win over AA would be a good win but not a great one for Ward

I simply don't see how they can diss on Calzaghe.

Calzaghe has the skillset to be competetive n any era. He lacks power (probably by virtue of having brittle hands) but he is a thinking fighter with very good movement and offensive arsenal.

Is it his fault that he was in a weak era and faced Jones and Hopkins towards the end of their careers? **** happens and sometimes it is nobody's fault. But he is a hell of a talent. Boxing has a peak and trough when it comes to talents. Sometimes you have them in a bunch, sometimes none at all like most divisions nowadays.

Spud1 is just a poster who supports a fighter with one color. He is not a racist. He just have the ***** trait of degrading other fighters's accomplishments.

Neither Eubank or Hopkins were Prime, The answer is NONE!

Joe had a nice career, made a bit of cash and finished it undefeated but his legacy suffers because he never faced a Prime ATG.

Calzaghes best three wins (name wise)

    eubank
    jones
    hopkins

all were way past their best and shot.

You mention starie bika and others as if they are career defining wins.

So what prime ATG did Hopkins beat, because prime must also mean their effective weight division where they were prime, not where they have come up to?
Joe beat Eubank when he was 31 if thats your argument when he only had 2 disputed loses to one fighter, even though underdog Joe beat him clearly. Facts
Hopkins was scoring his biggest wins, so how could he not be prime. All people age different

Your first paragraph describes someone who is very close to your heart in Floyd Mayweather. but you are a hypocrit and wont give a man credit where due.

Since when do i only support black fighters, surely a poster who recognises this has racial tendencies.:deal

How many all time greats did Hopkins beat in their prime?

Only Tito and DLH and neither of them would give Calzaghe a sweat.
