Eubank then went up to CW and had 2 close fights with the then WBO CW Champ Thompson, losing closely first time and being pulled out on injury the 2nd time when ahead. I simply don't see how they can diss on Calzaghe. Calzaghe has the skillset to be competetive n any era. He lacks power (probably by virtue of having brittle hands) but he is a thinking fighter with very good movement and offensive arsenal. Is it his fault that he was in a weak era and faced Jones and Hopkins towards the end of their careers? **** happens and sometimes it is nobody's fault. But he is a hell of a talent.
