Briggs said it! Vitali was the best he ever fought,:yep that's what they get when they let their hate blind them, so stop repeating what fool's like Mike Sliver and mr.Sugar are saying.:nono because they've never had a glove on in their life.:bbb and would faint if they faced Vitali like Briggs did.:dead
Vitaly clearly wasn't the best Brigg's has fought, at least not the Vitali of tonight. If you think otherwise, then your a complete and utter ****** and should never post on ESB ever again.
Vitaly just keeps rolling along. I have no doubt that 30 lbs of extra muscle helped Shannon make the distance. Regardless, his corner, the limey ref or the ring doctor should have put and end to that.
*The best* is obviously subjective, and its also filtered through where the beaten man currently is in his career. But Briggs was impressed with Vitali's power, and overall skill well enough to make the statement to the public, so he apparently felt so. That's gotta count for something with the haters.
Yes, this beating could have easily been stopped ANYwhere from the 9th round on. Most agree it was a questionable decision to allow Briggs to stay in there. He took a vicious beating and it would have been stopped had it been a different ref.
Thats be honest here, Briggs made the comment after taking a brutal beating. Not that he's lieing, but Lewis knocked him out back in 98. Vitali couldn't even put him down. Danny Williams made the comment a few years ago that Tyson hit the hardest he ever felt. While I believe him, it makes you wonder why Tyson was unable to knock you out, though Vitali put you down like 5 or 6 times.
briggs also said that the klitschkos are gay and butt**** each other hey if briggs said it then its 100% true!
ur a ****ing ****** for creating this thread clearly the lack of oxygen was affecting briggs' brain.... he fought lennox back in the late 90's, when he himself was younger, fresher, and at his peak.....and lennox TKO'd his ass tonight, he was a slow, plodding, overweight ****, and SHOULD have been put away by the 5/6th round by any GREAT heavyweight..... but like always, even if he did get stopped, it would be due to his exhaustion, rather than it having to do with klitschko's power....briggs was rocking and reeling from exhaustion, not from hurt, and klitschko could not put away a guy that was just there to be had.... any version of lewis would have buried him into the ****ing floor tonight, and tyson would have decapitated him. if anything this fight proves the dire state of the heavyweight landscape, and how massively overrated the klitschko's will be because of this.
People say that crap all the time.. Briggs at age 38, survives the distance, and takes the opportunity to say that a man who decisioned him, was better than a guy who stopped him in his prime.... Nothing more to discuss here.
