Its so frustrating, Lewis vs Klit II didn't happen

I love Lewis! he is my #1 fighter of all time and i think he is a great great fighter and ATG!

I like vitali too!

and Lewis vs Klitschko II would have been an amazing fight!

Lennox The Lion lewis was close to 38 years old....no need for a rematch. It's good that he retired.

 

If Lennox would have met the challenge and fought the rematch then he would have retired without any doubts. He didn't leave boxing with the glory he might have had.

 

He also may have lost and left boxing with much less glory than he did leave with.

Funny the Lewis fans quote age. Vitali is destroying all comers now 2 years older than Lennox ever was in the ring.

 

Yeah, and Vitali had several years off in his mid thirties and is fighting in a much weaker era. Guess Vitali should be fighting into his mid forties too as if Hopkins can do it so can he? And I'm sure Lewis would have fought on against the Arreolas and Peters of this world.

 

Funny that Lewis is one of the few HW's who knows when to quit and enjoy life after devoting his teens, twenties and thirties in the sport.
Funny that Lewis did not see a challenge in fighting Briggs, who got a title shot after fighting cans, a decade after beating him.
