That was a master class performance by vitali, completely took away chance briggs had to mount an offense. Neutralized the **** out of him. Briggs was in the best shape of his life yet Vitali made the fight look easy. Vitali's skills made the fight look easy. The referee was from England, and hates Klitschkos. He did not stop the fight because he is a Haye fan and is angry because Klitschkos made a fool out of Haye.

Well done to Vitali but what is the point of this ****ing thread? Trying to rub in Vitali's victory to the "haters"? We all knew Klitschko would win and that Briggs would be too over the hill to be a real threat. So why are you trying to show off on his behalf? If anything, the fact he couldn't finish Briggs off shows he is in real decline and is there for the taking. Fortunately for him there isnt another decent heavyweight around to complete that task. Anyway, good for Vitali. But a win over Shannon Briggs doesn't deserve to be celebrated too wildly.
If you'd been battered about for twelve rounds, would you then say "Vitali wasnt that good"? Don't be silly. You'd say he was the best thing ever just to save face. Lennox beats Vitali all day long as his resume, and TKO6 clearly shows. Lewis was in no way being "damn near ko'd" by Briggs. But it was a better version of Briggs than the one that fought Klitschko. And Vitali couldn't finish him off. That tells you all you need to know.
Considering Lewis knocked out a prime Briggs in 5 we can safely ignore what he said last night. Remember he had just taken countless punches to the head!
