Vitali´s trainer Sdunek: "Vitali is far,far from retiring"

German respected newspaper Spiegel revealed, that Klitschkos trainer Sdunek stated, that Klitschko wont retire soon and will fight on until his body says no. Sdunek as well said, he was not pleased with Vitalis stance and the resulting lack of KO power and that he has to work with Klitschko on it in the future.

After last nights performance i can see Vitali fighting another 2-3 years.

 

I always knew it.

Vitaly is phycologically like George Foreman- he is driven on by a loss that he cannot avenge. We are going to see a lot more of vitaly.

 

Vitaly will reign for a long time.....

Even though Briggs should have been waved off, its good to see VK and Sdunek see the need to increase the power for his future fights.

......Personally, I now don't really see the Briggs travesty as a reflection on VK"s lack of power, now that we see the damage he did to Briggs after being allowed to fight 3 or 4 rounds TOO long.

The Iron fist KING is hanging in there, and will continue to seek and destroy.

Vitali is far from done. All these threads dumping on him are bull****..he looked just fine yesterday...he's a very good fighter..most freakish situation I've ever seen as a boxing fan...having two brothers at the top of a division..heavyweight no less..that are so utterly dominant. What more do they have to prove from these naysayers? Their critics are desperate.

 

Maybe if VK were to end world hunger, and bring world peace, that'd be a start.

Its hard to justify Vitali retiring after last night. I've yet to see anyone coming up through the ranks who will trouble him in the next couple of years. If he retired he'd still be the number 2 heavyweight for a long time

 

Better leave that fighting stance alone, Fritz, Vitali's positioning and sense of distance works so great with the current style he's using. What Vitali could do to add further unpredictability with the uppercut and putting full force behind the right hand every now and then, but the stance is just so natural, he shouldn't get rid of what works so well. Of course part of the reason Klitschko didn't jump on Briggs was the awareness of Shannon's power plus he arm-punches not to put too much weight on the sore knees. He's closing on his 40th birthday and he's adapting his sweet science to the circumstances probably the most effective way since Hopkins.

 

Vitali is in his prime - still. outstanding performance over a game challenger. Briggs refused to go down. He actaully was not knockedout by Lewis, he fell down after missing a wild punch and basically quit from exhaustion. Briggs jaw is underrated. He is a tough hombre.

 

Americans hating this. Even though they were rooting for Nigerian Sam Peter. Hmmmm
