to complain to ESPN for scrolling the results of 120 before they aired on SpikeTV. Was this a good or bad move? I don't think you'd want to upset ESPN. Afterall atleast the are covering MMA now, I think Dana may have screwed the pooch by being a dick to them. I wouldn't be suprised if ESPN says **** you Dana, you'll get even less coverage from now on. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2010/10/17/1756954/dana-white-sics-ufc-fans-on-espn
Yeah i read about this. Steve Jobs syndrome. This is what happens when you become too big for your boots. ESPN doesnt need the UFC. They're massive already without them. Dana on the other hand positively needs ESPN. Lets see what happens when they dont get that TV contract....
This is just stupid. I hate the spoiled crowd. "I haven't had a chance to see it yet. Boohoo..." Then stay the **** away from sporting news channels, sporting news sites, and forums where people discuss fights until you have, moron.
Yea because EVERYONE I know watches MMA haha If I ask 100 people I'll bet maybe 5 would knew who ANY champion is in MMA. If I ask 100 people about who Brett Favre is probably 90 of them would know. As much as I hate ESPN the sports they cover are usually the sports that are growing and/or are big. I think it is just plain stupid to **** off an outlet that can absolutely crush you if they so choose. Do you know how many times a day the can verbally assault the UFC? They have ALOT more followers the the UFC so if it comes to brainwashing I'm sure they could out wash Dana hahaha
I dont think espn could "crush" the ufc (considering it grew to a huge company without the help of espn), but dana is definitely being a whiny little ***** here and unreasonable. This certainly isnt a positive attitude for him to have for the growth of mma.
I mean "crush" by taking shots at them at whatever chance they can. You'd be niave to think that ESPN doesn't have alot of influence.
I don't understand the problem with Dana's tweet. People were flooding his twitter complaining about ESPN scrolling UFC results during College football games, so he told them to complain to ESPN, not him. Why is anyone getting butthurt over this? Its not like ESPN cares about their MMA coverage anyway, I mean their head MMA writer is Jake ****in Rossen.
He's not pissed. He was just telling people not to complain to him over something he has no control over.
I have a new UFC prediction. It will not be long before UFC fighters are made to talk **** in the cage about another fighter, then that fighters music comes on and he comes out to refute what was said. Sound familiar? It will happen.:deal
