i hate the two headed champ thing and would prefer it if vitali would just **** off and let wlad claim his rightful mantle in everyones eyes as the champ, but for the most part these guys are respectful, work on their games and appear in shape. this i can respect.

but my word, the rest of the division makes it hard for me to have any interest in heavyweight boxing. everyone is on the path of least resistance, not enough contenders are squaring off and too many records are being inflated on bum of the month runs meaning too many guys who sign up to face wlad/vitali are horribly unprepared for such a jump in class. boring, slow, uncompetitive methodical beatdowns in title matches are now the norm and it makes it hard for me to retain any interest in the division.

so how many people here are still following the division?

I watch both Klitschko's, Adamek, Haye...and Prizefighter Heavyweights when it is the Heavy's turn (a mini tournament every now and then in Britain)...I don't pay too much attention to anyone outside of that.

    Edit: Valuev aswell.

I have always watched the HW division, ever since the bare-knuckle neanderthal champions of old like the famous Glurg VS Gah trilogy. This will not change. It doesn't matter how happy or angry at the division I am, I want to know what the **** is going on.

    Good edit.

I only take interest in fights involving the Klitschkos and Haye.

And of course, Audley The Great.

this has nothing to do with nationality, i'm from the uk and hoping harrison absolutely smashes haye and sends him and his delusional fanbase packing and like i said in my original post i have nothing but respect for wlad and vitali.

but you are adding a touch of gloss to the division in your post to say the least.

Of course. We have two of the greatest heavies in history (wlad and vitali). We have a great champion in David Haye amongst others. Don't believe the American media's propaganda that there is no talent. Ameircan's cant compete in this division and they cant take that.

Wlad's fights are usually very boring. I don't know if i want to watch another Wlad fight.

Vitali has a bit more entertaining style. They both deserve respect though. They have done enough to be considered in the best HW of all time list.

Haye/Harrison is going to be an event. So will Haye/Kilt (if it happens).

The HW division may not be in it's best place just now, but it just needs a few more athletes like the Kilts to make it good again.

Once the Klitschko dominance ends, whether it be retirement, age, whatever, the heavyweight division becomes quite interesting.

By no means will it be a talented division, but certainly it's an evenly matched division without them.

Compared to the other divs, the heavys suck balls. I watched the Briggs and Vitali fight which was weak to say the least. Briggs didn't want to be there, shuffling round throwing the odd weak jab and Vitali looked robotic as usual.

It shits me how you get guys like Briggs before the fight telling everyone that they're a tiger and a killer etc. then don't do **** in the ring. ****ing embarrassments. Gimme middleweights and lighter anyday.
