LOL Everyone has probably someone or other that they love to hate...no harm in it as long as its good humoured. I love the way Laz/Lexar and Darni etc jump in with must make many positive posts/threads/accuse the world of racism every time tweety bird gets mentioned in any kind of negative light. :yep

 

Yeah even I dislike certain fighters, like Haye and Froch for example, but I don't HATE them and I'm not popping up in every thread just to call them "a ****ing little twat" (or big twat in their cases) or "****". These Dudes are obsessed.

Lexar/Darni are big Khan fans alright but to be fair, from what I've seen, the ones who bring up racism aren't always them, but other posters getting sarcastic with comments like "oh I hate Khan, I must be racist right?". I don't see them flooding the board with loads of Khan threads or anything like that. When a thread does get made, they pop up to support/defend their boy, really it's no big deal, and last week a big drama was made of it with people complaining over it, God knows why it upsets them so much.

 

The thing is, some people are just not even worth responding to. Nohomejerome is one of them haters who is hooked up to a drip feeding him haterade, so I don't even bother with him. I'm not a huge Khan fan but I do sometimes pop up in Khan threads to add some balance, let people know they're being hypocrites and getting precious over nothing, etc, but I never get involved in conversations/debates with certain types of posters. I might give them the odd response, but I won't take them seriously. They don't deserve that type of attention.

It's the same thing when troll threads are made. Some people get all upset and start abusing the OP, and before you know it, the thread has 20 pages. Then these people start crying "ohhh there are too many trolls" It doesn't bother me though, cuz I just don't reply to those troll threads. If everyone did that, then those threads would just die, on their own....

In short, not much. If I had a problem with a particular post of yours that I thought was unfair/deluded, and I thought you were worth a response, then I might respond and call you a nuthugger while stating my reasons (like I did to neverchair the other day), but really I don't care which fighter you support, which fighter you talk about, which topics you post on, what type of threads you make, how much you support a fighter etc. What's it matter to me?


To those people that are bothered by Khan's hardcore fans, they should ignore it if it bothers them that much but like I said, I don't see you or Darni flooding the board with Khan threads or affecting this forum that much, but even if you did, and I got bored, I would just stop reading them. I really don't know what the ****in problem is but maybe some peoples lives revolve around this forum. I just log on, read some threads, post something half decent if I'm in the mood, talk a little ****, go in the lounge to look at some pics of naked women, and log off. Trolls are around, always will be, nuthuggers are around, always will be. Cuz it's the got damn internetz foolz, not some ****in elitist social club. People need to man up and stop being so ****in uppity. Get that stick out your asses and walk properly fools. This sport needs fans. Nuthuggeror not, one more fan to the sport is one more fan that might turn into a hardcore fan in the future.

 

First, Lazarus/Lexar bring us race all the time. Second, he does flood the board with Khan threads. Third, he constantly insults and berates people say anything negative about Khan.

Why are you always defending him?

 

1.I've seen Laz say that some of the hate Khan get's is due to racism. This is a fact. An uncomfortable fact for some, but a fact.

I've never seen Laz/Lex accuse a poster of racism purely for saying they dislike Khan. If he has, that's ****ed up, but like I said, I've seen other posters bring up race a lot with their sarcasm ("oh I hate Khan, I must be racist") before anyone else mentions race.

2. How many Khan threads did Lex make today? How many did he make yesterday? Or last week? or last month? Who made all those Haroon Khan threads last week? Wasn't lex was it? Is the forum really affected by the few threads he does make? No.

3. If he insults people for a statement like "I don't think Khan is that good". then yes, that's ****ed up and he shouldn't do that, but if he insults people for saying something like "Khan is a little ****, hope Maidana sparks him out", then who cares?


4. I'm not defending him, I don't know Lexar, what could I possibly gain from defending him? I'm just trying to be fair, and the way I see it is that it's not really a big deal and people be getting upset over **** all.

C'mon man, what did I edit? The only edit I made on that post was bolding the word "some" in my first sentence, but hey if that's what you think..............

I got no agenda. This is just how I see it, if I'm wrong I'm wrong but I see a myth at the moment, like the myth that the board is flooded with Khan threads. That's all. People are afraid that ESB has been taken over by the devil himself.

Laz throws this thing up regularly. Who cares if it is a fact, (and by the way, using "some of the ..." is the weakest thing ever), the point is that bring it up in a discussion about Khan on a thread is bringing race into it, for no reason, therefore implying that race has something to do with the discussion. If somebody else hadn't mentioned race, then why bring it up?

There's tons of examples of this and I'm not going to waste my time finding them. Like the example you gave there is never a direct accusation, just a secondary implication of racism, such as in this example as well.

Gyppo is offensive yeah. Correct term is traveller. You were the one that said that Khan doesn't have any real fans and that the majority of Brit's were racist towards him, and also that most of his 'fans' were.
