    Can he? Yes.

    Will he? No.

  3. Zab stands a good chance because Maidana, Khan, Bradley, Berto, and Alexander are all kind of green and unproven against elite fighters.

No I'm not convinced. Lets see him get past Matthysse first, then we can concider it.

    Over 12 rounds...No.

If he tried to blast them out in the first 4-5 round...maybe.

If they agreed to make every fight at 140 a 6 rounder, then probably.

In other words, not a chance.

His mentality is terrible, if he doesnt blow someone out in the first four or five rounds he completely loses focus and throws it away. It's frustrating because he no doubt still has the ability.

i thought in his last fight he looked totally re-focused and happier at 140

maybe the drop in weight and his growing maturity as a fighter will see him being able to stay the whole twelve in the correct frame of mind

That's possible, I always wanted him back at 140. But you have to bear in mind he was fighting Santa Cruz, who wasnt even that good at lightweight.

No way. He's never had it mentally, and at this point he's shopworn, too.
